Since opening its doors in 1998, Bengal Raj has received great publicity and praise from local press, along with a string of different catering awards.

We train all of our staff with the highest level of Food Hygiene and Safety Qualification. There is also a selection of comments from celebrity guests and comments taken from articles.

Bengal Raj received a four star rating from the Bristol City Council food safety team for food hygiene.

I have been taking my family to the Bengal Raj since it opened, we enjoy it so much we held our wedding reception there in October 2007. We would like to thank Musleh and all the staff for giving us a day to remember.The food is always excellent and the staff always friendly and make us welcome.See you all next week, Collin x

I have had many a good meal in the Brunel and Bengal Raj restaurants. I've found that when going to the same familiar restaurants you order the same meal over and over but at the Brunel, every meal is a favourite of mine so that never happens. I'd highly reccomend it to anyone!

My friends and I had an amazing meal meal at Bengal Raj. It was definitely worth the hour raod trip with a punctured tyre ...one of the most memorable meals we've had. The fusion of Indian food in a beautiful setting and the excellent feel at home service is definitely something we will take away with us. Thanks!

Even though I have moved to the Lake District I still treat myself to a Bengal Raj curry on my return! The staff make me feel like I have never been away and always recognise me and remember my name!! Top class.

Ordered a Chicken Madras and Nan Bread and popadom takeaway, the only thing that I can say about this food is two words, " Utter Perfection ", I have been eating Chicken Madras in Bristol at varied restaurants over 20 years and this is with out doubt one of the best meals I have had. Plenty of sauce, perfect spicyness, lovely soft chicken which can be eaten just with a spoon it is so soft and has been cooked nice and slowly, peshwari nan was light and fluffy and not too sweet, I would not hesitate to recommend the food and staff.
